Dear "jeffy golf" forum member-
As I mentioned earlier in the week, I'm setting up "jeffy golf" separately from ProBoards and soon we will be 100% independent!
The changeover will probably go into effect over the weekend, maybe sooner (the web hosting industry doesn't like committing to the timing of these types of things), so it is time to get prepared!
A couple of basics: once the web hosting site processes the changes, entering jeffygolf.com into your browser will direct you to the new site.
However, jeffygolf.proboards.com will continue to direct you to the current site hosted by ProBoards.
You will be required to RE-REGISTER at the new site; ProBoards does not support exporting either member information or existing content to a new forum site.
If you want to get a head start, you can access the new site using this IP address (just type or copy it into your browser if the link below isn't active), register and even begin posting over there. Might as well beat the rush!

Feel free to re-start existing threads, you can easily copy the old text and paste it into a new post at the new site.
The new site is using the vBulletin forum software Manzella uses, so it will be much easier to load pictures and videos. Just click the image or filmstrip icons in the editor tool bar.
The best part: no ads and no ProBoards dictating content.
Check out the new board and let me know what you think. I've stripped out a lot of the frills you see at some other forums, such as member rankings based on number of posts; voting on threads or members; avatars, signatures and other pictures or graphics. No distractions or free advertising! Let's stay focused on what's important!
