I'll admit, it took me a while to pull the trigger, but not long ago I broke down and coughed up $40 for the least expensive V1 software. I think it is great! It is easy to load your own videos or those from YouTube and, even though it doesn't have EVERYTHING, for our purposes on "jeffy golf" its features are more than adequate. www.v1golf.com/products/v1-home.aspTo me, the big advantage with V1 is you can enlarge the videos and zoom in, can easily prepare "side-by-side" analyses, can frame-by-frame easily, and can do rudimentary line drawing. From all this you can create screen caps to illustrate your posts, something we want to encourage here! Seeing is believing! So, dip into the kids' college fund and BUY IT! Then, once you've got it, USE IT to educate yourself and everyone else on the forum. A picture is worth a thousand words! Jeff

Only problem is that it's not compatible with my Macbook! Does anyone know of any solutions other than buy a PC? I have been wondering and searching similar sw to mac for two years now and seems to be really hard to find. I was lucky to get the old blob man software and by that I can do something, but would like to get something like V1 or Kinovea. If someone knows something like that. please inform.

Only problem is that it's not compatible with my Macbook! Does anyone know of any solutions other than buy a PC? Can't you set up a Windows environment on a Mac if you run OS10.5 or later? I'm about to upgrade my Macbook and looking forward to being able to run a couple of "hobby" applications that currently have to stay on my work PC!

Can anyone tell me how to rotate the video in V1? My video is saved correctly but when opening in V1 it keeps showing the swing horizontally? When I initially downloaded it to my computer from camera I rotated and saved in quicktime. Thanks for the replies!
