First of all, please no unnecessary bashing or I will report you to the site admin. I think the analysis is short and sweet, suitable for the intended audience, that is, the open club face. Obviously, any teacher looking at that swing will have a field day with a list of things to work on, but I appreciate Brian picking out the open face as a starting point, arguable or not. My question on the Clinton swing is that to me he takes the club inside immediately. How do you address this open club face issue along with an inside path issue? (The other comment I have is that if swing analysis by video without any mention of Trackman is good enough for Bill, it is good enough for my kid www.golf.com/video/bill-clintons-swing-analysis

Yup, hard to do anything but flip with a face that wide up. That inside roll takeaway is nothing but bad news.
I wonder if he tried to feel like the face was pointing to the ground say for the first half of the backswing it might keep his right arm more above his left which will not allow the club to rotate and probably not as much inside, kinda what Ricky Fowler does, maybe a little what JB Holmes does.

Big Willy clearly doesnt know how #3 or the wrist flexion work. The general shape is good enough to be a guy who shoots in the 80s for sure!
I'd say Brian did a good job on this one!

Golfdad,
You asked how to fix this problem. Hunter Mahan's backswing would be a perfect example of how to do it.
Clinton's swing is a good example of how a plane is meaningless without looking at the micro movements that make it up. He internally rotates his right shoulder very early in the downswing, this triggers early right arm extension, has no lateral bend and then tries to flip/roll his way to make decent contact. Thus beyond the open clubface, there's a lot of work to make him a better golfer.
